35 - 40 years of age The majority of respondents 35 to 40 years of age earned an average of 40-80,000 dollars, worked 40 to 60 hours a week and had some college experience. They spent an average of 1-5 hours a week with friends, and the majority of their parents were divorce or deceased. The majority of them knew people who had been married from 25+ years and the majority of the respondents in this age range were in a monogamous (but not married) relationship.
